How much does a membership to The Gym costs?

The Gym has multiple options for memberships. The Gym memberships are required for “in-gym” personal training and is pay-as-you-go. You have the option of purchasing a day pass up to one year memberships to The Gym. There are no setup or initiation fees. Here is a list of the options for The Gym memberships:

1 Week – $30
2 Week – $40
1 Month – $50
3 Months – $100
6 Months – $180
1 Year – $300

Payment type options?

We accept multiple forms of payment. You have the option of purchasing personal training session packages on our website through PayPal. You may also pay with cash, check, or we also accept credit card payment via Square app as well.

How long is a personal training session?

Personal Training Sessions are approximately 50-60 minutes. We do expect clients to arrive early to the gym before each personal training session to foal roll, stretch and warm up. If not completed before meeting with our personal trainers, our trainers may have clients compete before starting your workouts to reduce likelihood of injury.

What do I need to bring to each personal training session?

Before your first personal training session, you will be required to fill out our online medical questionnaire, consent forms, and personal training agreements before meeting with one of our trainers for your first sessions or initial consultation. If you have any medical conditions, you may be asked to bring a doctor consent form to your first session before beginning training with one of our personal trainers. If meeting at The Gym for you first session, you should wear comfortable clothes, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.

What to expect for each personal training session?

Each personal training session may vary depending on clients goals, needs, ability. Personal training sessions may include self-myofascial release therapy, corrective stretching, warm-up and cool downs, interval training, strength training, weight training, corrective exercises, calisthenics, plyometrics, HITT training, balance training, hypertrophy training, and more.

What is the difference between “In-Gym” vs “In Home/Office Gym/ Outdoor” training prices?

“In Gym” personal training sessions refer to training out of The Gym ONLY. “In-Home, Office Gym/Outdoor” training prices refer to any sessions trained outside of The Gym.

What to expect for each Boot Camp class?

Every Boot Camp class will be a structured full body workout targeting every muscle group. Each class will last approximately 60 minutes. Boot Camp classes are held outdoors at Kate Session Park in North Pacific Beach area, so dress appropriately for each class. Body By Dave trainers will demonstrate each exercise and ensure proper form for the safest and most effective workouts. Boot Camp classes may include stretching, warm-up and cool downs, interval training, strength training, weight training, corrective exercises, calisthenics, plyometrics, HITT training, balance training, hypertrophy training, and more.

What do I need to bring to each Boot Camp class?

Before your first class, you will be required to fill out our online medical questionnaire, consent forms, and  agreements before completing your first class. If you have any medical conditions or limitations one of our personal trainers before starting each class. Each class is outdoors at Kate Sessions Park and require comfortable clothes and shoes to exercise in as well as brining a bottle water, mat, and towel if needed.
